Scott and Vanessa

Well I think I will just work my way through the week. On Tuesday I had the opportunity to meet with Vanessa and Scott. I was honored that they asked me to photograph their wedding ceremony. And while I am not quite up to the task of shooting an entire wedding on my own, I thought that their simple ceremony would be fun. Indoor shooting is always a challenge for me, and I have to concentrate carefully. So here are some of the best shots from the evening. The ceremony started at 4:45 so we were already pushing it for lighting, but we made it work. Thanks Vanessa and Scott! And, CONGRATS!!

I ♥ Faces~ Week 8~ Messy

This weeks theme at I ♥ Faces is Messy. This is a picture from my brother-in-laws wedding...somehow no one brought any window paint, so the bridesmaids got a little messy and used icing instead.

10th Anniversary

My husband and I will celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary on Thursday. In ways it seems like it has been much longer (thats good) and in the same breath it feels just like yesterday. I am blessed with an amazing husband who loves me unconditionally and supports me overwhelmingly!

We did a little photo session today just for fun. I took the pictures on a tripod with a self timer. Our 8, 6 and 3 year old daughters took a few for us too! So, I definitely need to hire those girls...they did great considering their inexperience and unsteady hand! :)

Couple Pictures

~Wedding Post~ All About Details

Just a few shots....I am still working on the photo transfer. I took the images in RAW format to create the highest image quality possible. This was quite a whirlwind wedding, as the photographer and family member, it seemed to be over in the blink of an eye. (And 1200+ pictures later! I took around 700images and had an assistant that took the rest.)
I wanted to make sure to mention that some of the pictures from this wedding were taken by Charis Draper.

Waiting for the wedding pictures....

While I am working on getting the wedding pictures finished, here are a few I took while relaxing with the family at the coast yesterday.

Sarah and Nathan (Engagment)

Their wedding is coming up in August and I am excited to photograph them again, they were so easy to film, as are most couples who are in love. Everything is just natural.
