Welcome

I am a natural light photographer, specializing in Seniors, Individuals and Engagement Sessions. I love to capture the special memories that will be cherished by your family for years to come. Capturing real life as a portrait is what I love to do. Real. Life. Portraiture.

Marco Class of 2010 ~Albany Senior Portrait Photographer~ Urban Photography

I enjoyed shooting with Marco and his mom last week. Marco plays football for SAHS, so we had to work his session in between practices. He is a really cute kid and we got some great shots. I have not had a chance to start editing his session yet, but I pulled out a couple of images that stood out to me when I was viewing them. We'll have more images to come!

Family Session ~Oregon Family Photographer~

I am finishing up the edits on last weeks family session...and gearing up to start editing a great senior session I had earlier this week.

Family Session ~Oregon Family Photographer~

Kudos to the photographer who can manage large family groups, while keeping the kids happy and entertained, and still juggle all the aspects of taking the portrait! I had my hands full last Saturday with this fun family session. We managed to get quite a few shots fired off and now I am sorting through them all. But here are a few images that stuck out to me while I was previewing them. Hope you like them and there will be more to come later this week!
And Julie..you have a great eye for posing and such, maybe you should consider photography!

One Last Post for Kiara ~Senior Portrait Photographer~

As I was finishing up the editing process on these images today, I found a few more "favorites" and really wanted to post them! Thanks again Kiara for making this session so much fun. You were so easy to shoot and a blast to hang out with. I'll have your disc in the mail tomorrow!!

I love the urban feel that these both have!

~Bruton Family~ Western Oregon Photographer

Before we started with Kiara's senior portraits we had a chance to get some family shots. These guys were really fun to shoot. Dad does some of his own photography, so I must admit that I was a bit nervous once I heard that. Hope you enjoy these family shots. I am nearing the end of the editing process and hope to get your disc in the mail in the next few days.

She is such a sweetheart. I wasn't sure we would get any pictures tonight because she was feeling a bit fussy...but after I was privialged to hold her for a bit she burped and felt much better. What a joy she was...her middle name fits her well! I am not done editing my senior session from Monday, but just had to throw a few pictures of this doll baby on. Thanks so much for letting me capture her!

I just love black and white pictures with newborns...they are so yummy!

Sisters...sisters...there were never such devoted sisters.

These sweet girls made me want to be part of their family. They love each other and have so much fun together. I appreciate families that get along so well and it makes me thankful for my sweet sisters too!

I am playing around with some textures on this next image...not sure how pleased I am. I love the shot, but can't decide if I like how grainy the textures make it look. Guess I will keep playing! :)

~Kiara Class of 2010~ Oregon Senior Portrait Photographer

Oh my goodness!! I had so much fun last night with Kiara and her sisters. (she had her own personal assistants to make sure she looked good...though that wasn't hard to do since she is so stinkin' adorable! I don't think I got one bad shot!) They were a blast to hang out with! Kiara is so fun and spirited...as you'll see from some of these images.

And just to show off her great personality....

Collage~ Oregon Photographer ~

Just put together this collage of a sweet little lady...and wanted to share it. Isn't she a doll? Photo Collage

This is an 8x10 picture collage, and its a great way to put together a pleasing display of portraits. I think I am going to make one of my girls soon. I just need to get some pictures of them. I think thats the way it goes, I am always photographing other people, so I forget to take pictures of my own family!

This little girl is growing up right before our eyes...I am sure her mom and dad feel the same way. I can't believe how big she is getting and the new things she can do each time I see her. She is going to be a great at getting her picture taken since she is already trained to look right into the camera! I couldn't ask for anything more! (Well, unless she would smile on cue....) :) Here is just one sweet shot from Saturday's session.
