Opinions Needed!! Willamette Valley, Oregon Senior Photographer

This session has been so fun to edit so far...we got some great shots! I can't wait to finish it up. I have quite a few more to go though.

I have a love/hate relationship with senior sessions. I LOVE shooting seniors, they are so fun and always end up with some awesome shots, but in the same breath I have a really hard time deciding which shots I like the most, and it takes time editing them because there are so many options for each of the pictures!

Take the image below...I love how it turned out, but then I ran one little action on it and it looks so fun both ways I can't decide which one I like more! Leave me a comment and let me know which way you like it.... Click on either image for a side by side comparison.

Fix It Friday

Fix It Friday at I ♥ Faces. This week they have an adorable little baby. I was really excited to work on this one. I tried really hard not to look at the edited versions so I could use my own ideas. I managed to only see one (which I loved!). So here is my take on this photo. All edits were made with Photoshop 7.

Original Shot

Rotated 45 degrees, and cloned in the blanket to fill in the voids. First I lightened the image. Then ran an action to make the eyes sparkle. I also added a texture called "sandstone" to blur out my changes to the blanket. Then I used the history brush on the face. Then I used "rounded corners" action, just cuz I like it. :)

On this picture I did the same as above, except without the sandstone filter.

This one has the "Seventies" action that I love so well. I change the layer opacity a bit to tone it down some.
On this shot, I ran the sparkly eyes action, then I lightened the picture by about 2 more steps. Then I converted it to black and white. This one is my favorite of the edits.

More Belly Shots

I am loving the black and whites....and of course one of my favorite actions... "Seventies" from Pioneer Woman.
