Beautiful!

I met with Rachel and her mom last week for some senior pictures. You might remember Rachel's cousin from a previous session. Rachel was just as beautiful to photograph. She knows all the right moves and has great poses without much prompting from me. So without further ado...here are a few from her session....they are beautiful!

Laughing Out Loud

Thats what I spent most of the senior session I had on Saturday doing...laughing. A lot!! Corey was a total crack-up. He has the entire entourage laughing all afternoon. We had a lot of fun (at least I did!) and got some great shots. The weather was absolutely beautiful. I have no idea what was so funny at this point, but I love this picture. From the few hours I spent with Corey, this seems to depict him pretty well!

Deciding on Tones and Colors

When I am editing pictures I always have a hard time deciding which tones I like the best. I love the soft looks of black and whites or sepia tones images, but I really love the boldness that you get with a full color. And if you have read my blog much you know I am a sucker for a faded "70's" look too. So here are three choices that I am playing with. There are different things that I like about each of them...but I am curious what your opinions are! Leave a comment and let me know what you think!

I am finishing up Leanna's senior portraits...and I think I might be done. Even sooner than I thought I would be. (Can you hardly wait?!) I love it when I get into a groove and can rock out an editing session! So here are the last images I am going to post of Leanna! Thanks again for letting me take your senior pictures! And you have to click on the last picture to see it full size...it is a really great shot.

More Leanna

Just a quick explanation on this next one...it started out as a mistake...I was resizing one of them and somehow it ended up on top of the other and after looking at it a little bit I kinda liked it. It is a fun artsy kind of look, and I just wanted to throw it in.

Chelsea ~Class of 2010~ South Albany High School

Wow! I just don't have much more to say than that. We got some great shots at Chelsea's senior session. The lighting was just perfect! So enjoy these images from the session...still lots of editing to do. Lots of sessions going on right now...so I am just trying to stay caught up. :)

Leanna Class of 2010~ Milwaukie High School

We took our chances on Friday for this session and with a gorgeous morning and afternoon I thought we had it made, but not 20 minutes into the session it started raining on us! That made things interesting for sure! But we still got some great shots! (Check out the raindrops on the water...) Leanna was fun to shoot, and ready to try any pose. She is a natural in front of the camera even when she wasn't sure what to do. And she has gorgeous big brown eyes! I loved working with her. Thanks for being so patient Leanna, I know you have been waiting to see some images from your session!

Still more to come...

South Albany Senior

I had to post a few more images. I am still working away on Corrinda's session. The only problem with a great session is that I have so many images to work with, it takes a while to get them all edited. But I am nearing the end. I have another senior session tomorrow...if the weather cooperates!

This picture may not follow the rules of lighting in most photography...but I still like it. The creek was just sparkling on this particular morning and casting such fun lights that I wanted to try a shot with some of it highlighting her face. I really like how it turned out.

Corrinda~Senior Portrait Session

Corrinda picked out such a great location! I have never shot at this park before but it was so great. There were lots of different options. But I wanted to post a few pictures while I am editing the rest of them! There are lots of good ones!

Marco Class of 2010 ~Albany Senior Portrait Photographer~ Urban Photography

I enjoyed shooting with Marco and his mom last week. Marco plays football for SAHS, so we had to work his session in between practices. He is a really cute kid and we got some great shots. I have not had a chance to start editing his session yet, but I pulled out a couple of images that stood out to me when I was viewing them. We'll have more images to come!

Go Rebels!

Sisters...sisters...there were never such devoted sisters.

These sweet girls made me want to be part of their family. They love each other and have so much fun together. I appreciate families that get along so well and it makes me thankful for my sweet sisters too!

I am playing around with some textures on this next image...not sure how pleased I am. I love the shot, but can't decide if I like how grainy the textures make it look. Guess I will keep playing! :)

~Kiara Class of 2010~ Oregon Senior Portrait Photographer

Oh my goodness!! I had so much fun last night with Kiara and her sisters. (she had her own personal assistants to make sure she looked good...though that wasn't hard to do since she is so stinkin' adorable! I don't think I got one bad shot!) They were a blast to hang out with! Kiara is so fun and spirited...as you'll see from some of these images.

And just to show off her great personality....
