Welcome

I am a natural light photographer, specializing in Seniors, Individuals and Engagement Sessions. I love to capture the special memories that will be cherished by your family for years to come. Capturing real life as a portrait is what I love to do. Real. Life. Portraiture.

Linn County Fair ~Albany, OR Photography

We got to go to the Linn County Fair as a family on Saturday evening. My husband's company generously offers tickets every year....its great! So I decided to try and sharpen my skills a bit with some twilight photography! I love the ferris wheel love taking pictures of the ferris wheel. (I just realized this year that I would rather ride something like the zipper, then to sit at the top of the ferris wheel!)

Cousins

Met with these three last week...and their moms. They were so much fun! I got a kick out of the interactions between all the family....kids, moms, even grandma.

The "R" Family ~Family Photographer~

I had the honor today to photograph a new family. Josh and Renee got home a few weeks ago with their boys, who are just adorable and so sweet too! I know they were freezing cold, but they did such a great job smiling for me! I really enjoyed meeting them. I am starting at the end of the session, but I just loved the look on their little guys face in this shot! Enjoy these for now...I am finishing up my previous session before I get back to this one, but there will be more later! :)

A Freebie

First off...happy birthday to an old (ha ha) high school friend! She is celebrating all week long by giving things away on her blog. She is a VERY crafty and talented person, so go check it out. Just leave a comment to enter!

This is a shot I took a few weeks ago, I love the two stars (? Planets? I guess I don't know much about the sky!)

The Principal's Office

I have always remembered how to spell principal (vs. principle) because the principal is your "pal". :) I recently took family pictures of the principals family. Pam and I work together on the leadership team for the mom's group that I attend and her husband is the principal for a local school.
Their kids were so sweet and ready to pose for pictures. Their littlest one wanted to see the picture after we took each one...he is just too cute!

Night Photos

These were taken from my front porch and driveway. This is my first real attempt at night photography and I really like how the sky turned out. The moon is just a thumbnail moon tonight, but looks full. The tree is illuminated by the lights on our front porch.
