November 5th Mini Sessions

I loved the first weekend of mini sessions! We booked the day full of fun families and got some GREAT images! I loved our location, a Flinn Block retail space. It is a gorgeously redone space with amazing wood floors, nice lighting, great natural light and wonderful brick walls! We are gearing up for our next weekend of mini sessions...coming November 19th!

Fun Christmas Picture

I mentioned the other day that Esperanza had a fun idea for a Christmas picture. I got to play with photoshop and added a couple of different elements to create a "Christmas ornament" design. I think it turned out pretty cute. Here is the before...and after. :)

Christmas Vacation is Coming

I just wanted to let everyone know that I will not be taking any appointments after December 12th, until the new year. I will be taking a break for Christmas-time and while I am looking forward to it, I am sure I will be itching to get back once the new year finally rolls around! And here is a look at what I did with my time off last Christmas! :) (Look closely!)

I rearranged the blue and brown thanksgiving style into this elegant Christmas design. I just couldn't decide if a color image or a black and white image would look better.

Holiday Mini Sessions $35

Mini Session Portrait Dates:

Saturday, November 7; All Times Booked

Saturday November 21st; 9:30- Available, 10:00-Booked, 10:30-Available, 11:00- Booked, 11:30- Booked, 1:00pm-Booked, 1:30-Booked, 2:00-Booked, 2:30-Booked, 3:00- Available, 3:30-Booked, 4:00- Booked, 4:30 -Booked

Location is TBA although we are currently looking at Timberlinn Park.

Each session will last for 15 minutes. Images will be uploaded to a private site within 48 hrs and will be available to view for 5 days. Once an image and design are chosen I will e-mail a digital preview for you to approve.

Cards will be printed and ready for pick up 2 weeks after design and portrait is chosen.

Total cost is $35 for portrait session, 25 cards/envelopes and 1 disc with 3 images for reprinting. Each additional set of 10 cards will be $10. For $20 you may choose to have all images from gallery included on the disc.

Holiday Greeting Card Designs

Christmas is coming!! I know, its still over 2 months away...but now is the time to be thinking about holiday cards! I have lots of designs to choose from and stay tuned for details about a holiday mini portrait session date! I'll have some great card packages that will include a short portrait session, 25 printed photo cards/envelopes, and a disc with 3 images for reprinting. I'll post the date soon...hurry though the slots fill up quickly! Price will be $35 or less....

Sweet "P" Family

Some of my good friends let me take some family portraits this weekend. Their daughter is so funny. She has the biggest, brownest eyes and is absolutely adorable. I don't feel like I know her all that well, she is only 1 afterall. But take a look at these pictures and I think her personality is captured here. (Beth, tell me if I am wrong...)

I absolutely love how the picture in front of the holly (above) turned out so "Christmas'y'"

The one above just absolutely cracks me up. This is what I know of Miss E. Always on the go....her arms are flapping away in excitment!

I love playing with color tones, but can never quite decide which I like the most. The top picture is straight out of the camera color, and the picture below I adjusted using an action called "Creamy Toffee Latte". It makes the colors warmer and adds a softness to the picture.
