Brooke and Rae'ven are two of the sweetest girls! Their mom, Michelle, and I are good friends, so I was excited when she asked me to do a shoot with the girls and their dad when he arrived home from Iraq! I felt honored. Derek just returned from a 15 month tour in Iraq (which I believe is his second!)

So I am editing away on this session. I wanted to post a few pictures while I finish working on the rest.

Baby Love ~Willamette Valley, Oregon Family & Infant Photographer

What a cutie pie! I had a chance to take some pictures of this sweet little girl. I had a maternity session with her parents just a week or so before she joined us. (here & here) We had our session just a few hours ago, so I have some work to do...but just wanted to post 1 sweet image that caught my eye! Hope you like it!

A Sweet Moment

The other day my oldest daughter was having a hard afternoon. After listening to about an hour of off and on, whining and fussing, I had had enough. (Mean mom!) So I sent her outside to talk to daddy. A few minutes later I look out the window to see this....

it totally melted my heart. I have an awesome husband who is a great daddy to his girls!

I used an action from Coffee Shop Actions. They have some great free actions for Photoshop and PSE. The one I used here is Creamy Toffee Latte. It just gives the picture a sweet soft look.

One day last summer my daughters were playing outside in the water and I captured this picture as she was about to swing through a stream of cold water. I love the childish look of glee on her face. Family Session

I had a family session yesterday with a gorgeous family. I am editing their pictures as I type this post, but saw this adorable shot of their daughter and just had to post it. (Click on the picture to enlarge)

My 8 Year Old

We celebrated a birthday in the family yesterday...isn't she growing up! We decided to cut her hair for her birthday! I think it looks so cute! She was very excited to take some birthday pictures. We didn't have the best weather for it, but we still gave it a try!
